brake part numbers

As I look through older posts looking for part #'s there seems to be alot of differences.
example:front pads PGD530c or PGD349
front calipers slc8055u or 8033u or 0771059s or 0770545s
rear shoe 524pg or 510pg or gls6686
I don't want to cheap out on brakes so what all am I looking for to do front and back pads, shoes and calipers. I would like to upgrade to high end (raybesto?), and if so do I need all matching raybesto shoes, calipers, cylinders and pads, or how can I intermatch, depending on availability and necessity. Do I have to change the rotors aswell.
Getting everything from lordco would be handy. Thanks in advance for any help.
Matt
ps.I just got my 2.5'' side exit exhaust done at quiet muffler thanks to the advice on this forum. they did a good job and it cost $336 with a nice ss tip
