Hello,

I am very interested bying a van like the Delica. Before comminting, I would appreciate your experience for those who have a Delica.

-Which model had 7 seat that can fold down and make more less a flat bed : PW35 super exceed?
-Do you have a document that explain the mecanic service schedule needed and at how many km?
-Are repair manual available?
-Where do you find parts for repair? and how expensive expensive it can be? Is it a problem?
-What typically need to be changed to pass transport canada inspection when importing ?
-How much money do you spent in repair/maintenance per year?
-Do you save a lot of money importing it yourself? Share your experience?
-Any pitfall you had and i could avoid by sharing your experince

you can fold the seats flat on the 7 seaters or the "8 seaters" (the 8 seater L300 doesn't have a belt for the 8th seat but the L400 does I'm told) the super exceed is always the 7 seat I believe but under that it is pretty random, the chamonix and jasper are always the "8".

I don't know the service intervals but some people have posted what they go by on the site, searching should help you find those.

there are repair manuals that you can buy online and also many are on this site.

finding parts is not that hard many parts are cross referenced with NA parts on this site and others are available through several importers on this site.

Tires, headlights and adding some reflectors is most of it, there are detailed posts on the site

the money on maintenance varies greatly, usually dependant on how much preventative work was done by the importer/previous owner.

importing yourself IMO is a crap shoot, you can end up with a great van that needs little work and save, or end up with a Van that needs so much work that you end up spending way more or worse you don't do the work or don't know it needs doing and end up needing a new motor or something (has happened more than once)

you can avoid all of these problems by buying my van :)
