Friday I decided to see how the Delica would fair on the snowy East Harrison/Clear creek forrest service roads. I was so impressed with the Delica's willingness to push forward even when the snow hit 12 inches deep, and neither snow filled water bars, nor steep uphill gradients seemed to slow her down...That is until the very last hill before the springs. I tried about 5 times to use momentum to get up the snow covered hill, but each pass was throwing me closer and closer to the cliff side. In the end we hiked the last few hundred meteres and enjoyed a nice soak, in the disgusting cess pools that are Clear Creek. All in all very impressed and happy on how the L400 performed for me.

Looks like fun! I love it out there. That area is where I did my first ever solo survival camp. Got dropped off in the bush and spent a week making my way back to civilization. LOL, I should have stayed out there!

Hmmm, shoulda got an L300. Mine did the same trip last weekend, with 5 hefty adults and full camping gear including firewood, and a whitewater canoe on the roof racks, and the L300 had no trouble. Brag Brag. Enjoyed our hot tub soak till some ATV'ers arrived, begging for gas as they had almost run out due to their idiot driving style, their gas fume addled heads couldnt understand when I said we dont' have gas but could give them vegetable oil. Anyway to be fair to the L400, we did have less snow than you did. Seeing your photos is quite scary because the snow hides the nasty sharp edged deep ditches and steep cliffs and crumbling road edges, it is not a good road.
