Where can someone find some good and inexpensive DOT approved headlights for a 95 Delica Spacegear? I've got a Delica arriving early may and I'd like to get my ducks in a row for passing inspection. Can anyone help me find what I need or have any tips for passing inspection in Saskatchewan (reliable mechanic, good parts source etc.)? Any help would be amazing!

Can't wait to hit the road!!

Unfortunately there is no such thing as good and inexpensive headlights for 1995 L400 Delica's.
They are only made by Mitsubishi in LHD form and they are expensive to buy,the upside is they just bolt right in and are the best quality you will find.

You can put the second series L400 headlights on a first series L400. There is a gap between the hood and the light.

Here is an image (from the original thread) I am uploading in case the real image goes offline:

the words 'good quality' and 'cheap' do not belong together.

If you want cheap DOT lights, go to crappy tire and buy the snowplow style headlight/signal light assembly and mount them on the bumper at headlight level.

Cheap ? Yes. Ugly ? Yes.

If you want your spacegear to look 'normal' and not 'cheap', then do like the rest of us and pony up the $950 - 1,200 it costs for a pair of real LHD OEM spacegear headlights.

Cheap ? No. Ugly ? No.

There's your 2 options.

The 2nd gen 97+ L400 headlights look like crap. That picture makes them look half descent but in reality it looks like someone jammed a domestic ford light in there. I tried it.

One option is simply changing the lenses of the L400 head lamps. Zen Auto Works is selling the E-Code lenses for compliance and yes it will produce a correct beam pattern as it is the L400 lenses which dictate the beam on L400 lamps.

Both Zen Autoworks (Calgary) and Rocky Mountain Imports (Vancouver Island) have these glass L400 lenses in stock.
