Terzo ladder install

Got a very nice ladder from cobsweb a few weeks ago and thought I would post a pic to show what not to do.
When I fitted the ladder it rubbed my spoiler so I used a drum sander to make a couple of clearance grooves. I installed the spoiler just last year so it was easy to take off and do on the workbench.
I was and still am pleased with the result buuuuuuuuuut............ I was looking at it this morning and checking to make sure the bolts were still tight when I realized that I could loosen the upper bracket and tighten the lower bracket to sneak the ladder down a few mm's which would probably have been just enough to miss the spoiler.
