Looking for supplier for replacement inner front window seals (I've since found out this is called weatherstrip) for my Delica.

There are two different types on the front window, inner and outer. I can update post with photos and measurements.

1) The outer rubber seals appear to be clipped on to the door edge itself. This seal holds the window in place away from the door's edge.

2) The inner rubber seals are on a metal track affixed to the upholstered door panel with a series of folding metal tabs. This seal holds the window in place against the outer seal.

The inner seals are done in on my van, so the windows rattle around. The outers are dry and hard, but still intact.

Killing seals is no longer politically correct!
Hi there can you send some pics and I will try to come up with something.
I have connections to manufacturers of seals,The start up investment is usually a bit.If there is more interest it would bring cost down considerably.
cheers,

I would also be interested in replacement front door window seals. My windows pinch my current seals and won't close properly at speed.

I would also be interested in these seals, and while I'm at it, how about the passenger seat seal(hood if I may say so) and the sliding door seal. My are all leaking and it make for some cold ride in winter when the draft come from under the seat!!!!!!

Pedro from up north.

Thanks for the offer!
I will Try to use mine,I am hoping its the same for most years..I have a 93. My van has less then 60k and the seals dont appear to be dried out yet....One side however has a bit of what looks like some kind of japanease moss growing on it..I am surprised it passed soil insp ha.
Can you maybe take a pic of the seal that you want a generic replacment for so I can make sure we are on the same page.Hopefully a few more will be interested so I can recoup start up cost.
Cheers.

alovleyman....do you have the little window clips on your windows?
Not having the clips installed is more likely the cause of the windows not closing at speed than the seals are.
There's a few posts on this from way back when, I got mine ordered in directly from the Mitsubishi dealer and it instantly fixes the non closing windows at speed.

Cheers :M

Go to your local Mitsubishi Dealer and ask for #MB421735
These are the clips to guide your window, but they only work if you don't have a rain guard already.

Clips work very well, were dirt cheap and took two seconds to install. My favourite kind of fix. Has anyone had any luck looking for seals for the outside, inside and upper channel of the Delica front doors?
