Rear sway bar bushings in Saskatoon?

Hey !

Anyone know where I can get some rear sway bar bushings and a middle bench middle seat male seatbelt end?

I'm in Saskatoon, trying to pass inspection, and the shop (OK Tire) can't source the bushings.

I want to get Jeanne Claude on the road!

Can't register until the work is done.
Temporary permit expires today.

Good weather for biking!

can you pull the middle belt out to pass expection and then replace it? Does it use the same end as anyother Mitsu product?

Rear sway bar bushings? --pull the old ones and match up with aftermarket speed shop ones??

Good luck

You could try D&D Imports in Prince Albert for parts. They might have what you need,if not than phone B.C. and have shipped by bus?

It looks like Mardy will ship some out for me.

I hadn't thought of D&D imports.

I got the part name and number from Mardy, but couldn't find a supplier through OK Tire, where they are doing the compliance, or through cross referencing it with NAPA. The Napa guy even told me I was dumb to have bought a Delica. Swine.

Thanks for the tips,

Patton

Sounds like the Napa guy needs a course in customer relations.

I would have told him I was stupid to even think Napa could help in the first place. :-D

Evidently NAPA has no need for our business in these bountiful times. Why not tell his/her boss that this story is making it's way around the club web site and the club has 3,355 members (and growing fast) that is reading it. Something like this happened to me at North Shore Auto Parts where I was enquiring about new batteries: The guy asked me what vehicle these batteries were for; I told him for a RHD van called a Delica, have you heard of it?; he responded with "Oh, that piece of sh!t". Everything stopped in that shop, including the clocks. Everyone looked at him. I wrote about it on this site. Since then their name has changed. It's amazing how fast news can travel without the aid of TV or Radio.

Hello,

I found a garage who will do the safety inspection here in Winnipeg, and I too need these rear sway bar bushings, as well as front shocks.
If there are those who have these parts, let me know.

Well, the parts I was sent are not what is needed.

I received "shock tower grommets", and to pass the inspection, I require "rear sway bar bushings"
that sit between the rear sway bar and the frame.

I need these ASAP.

Does anyone know which shop could send these out to Saskatoon?

Bummed, and not on the road.

Probably you need sway bar link ( 2 set ), I guess.
If you post pics( or send pic to my email address ) and we confirm, we can ship them right away.

The mechanic here tells me it is not the link bushing, but the sway bar mounting bushing between rear swaybar and chassis.

I'm waiting for a pic from the mech. will post.

hi, patton,
ask the mechanic to sedn you the pictures;
did check 2 cars here exceed & super exceed model but they are the same:
the sway bar bushing that go between the rear sway bar link thru chassis is just a grommet.
there si only 2 bushing attached on each side of the sway bar link.
i dont see any more bushing attached from the sway bar link thru the chassis;
he can take a picture of it even the car is not in the hoist:
it will take him not even 5 minute to take pictures on that:
hope this help;
cheers;

Are the sway bar bushings and sway bar link kit the same? What's the difference between the two?

Yeah.. the aftermarket speed shops may have these bushings or sway bar link kit you are looking for. When I have difficulty getting certain parts, that's where I search.
