Kits should be in this Wednesday (28th). Kits are courtesy of a member of
http://www.delicaownersclub.co.uk (great guys over there, like here)
Quick refresher: this is a side post to Jensen's EGR kits with these kits intended for Vancouver Island distribution. For technical questions, please seek the many other posts on this subject.
Kits are intended for Delica & Pajero 2.8 & 2.5 (4M40/4D56)
At the end of the day, my cost for the kits was just over $12.75 and will also be the cost to members.
*** NOTE: I purchased 20 of these kits, first come first served until gone ***
Contents:
X2 6mm Laser profiled high grade steel blanking plates
X1 Rubber vacuum blanking pipe
X2 High tensile M8 bolts
X2 BZP M8 flanged locking nuts
X2 M8 spring washers
X2 M8 flat washers
Full step by step fitting instructions with colour guide
At present I do not have time to host a mini-meet. I will be doing a lot of travel from Courtenay to Victoria and back and should be able to accomodate individual drop offs near the highway. Cash only please, not a business.
PM if interested

K, so the kits are in! Well, in town anyway, I was not here when UPS tried to deliver. better get them tomorrow.
Anyone want to start a thread on why we hate UPS? I got stung once over 10 years ago and avoided them since, got sloppy and got hit again......... grrrr
My bad on the UPS brokerage crap, and I will eat some of that, consider it my contribution to the site (free advice that saves me time and money

.......)
After adding some of the UPS "fees", kits will be $14 even and hopefully available tomorrow.
I have had some PMs before and I will respond once I actually get the kits in hand.
Still over a dozen kits available to claim (preference to the island)
Cheers

Nice photos, Lopar. Would you mind if I copy them into the EGR thread of the FAQ section?
Falco.

Nope (would not mind), anything I post is fair game, unless for some reason I were say otherwises.

Throw back what little I can; lord knows I have been, and continue to, bleed this forum dry of good info saving nothing but time and money!

This helps me out alot cause I've been including 4 bolts, nut's and washers in my kits (which have made up a large portion of the cost of the kits). I see now that I only need to include half that!

Chris - received my kit earlier this week - just need time to install now. Looks like an easy job, but just one question: should a gasket go between the plate and intake manifold? Don't see anything in the pics.
Thanks for the prompt shipping!
Cheers, Graeme

I looked around with the same question: some people put nothing........ re-use an old gasket if it there. What I did (and recommed), use normal red high heat RTV, or similar on the manifold side. Exhaust side will get much hotter: use the copper higher heat RTV or an exhuast crack/seam cement. available at crappy tire or other auto parts stores. Do not go gorilla on the manifold bolts or you will strip them.
