Hey, I think it is pretty rare to get a left hand drive one. You could possibly convert it over...

Yes, but not in Canada and Japan. You need to look into European vehicle markets.

That's impossible unless you have propane injection.
According to Mitsubishi manual the L400 2.8 gets 12L/100km.
I have owned and driven all three L400 models extensively and the best fuel economy you can get is 10.5L/100km and that is a fully tuned L400 with. 2.5" exhaust and 28.5" tires.
I still see people on craigslist claiming outrageous mileage claims on Delica's. Its very misleading to potential owners who do not know.
The 5spd can get at best 9.5L in the city with very conservative driving. On the highway, the automatic gets better fuel economic due to the gearing and overdrive.
You've got a nice rig. It is best to tell potential buyers that the average fuel economy is 12L/100km.

You should also tell potential buyers that they will get mad tail in a Delica. You know, in the interest of full disclosure...
(
Fishtail, I meant.)

Now I'm really confused.
What about this?

Although the 5spd L400 cruises good on the highway, it doesn't get as good mpg as the auto because the final drive ratio allows for lower rpm at the same speed on the auto.

Sorry that was supposed to be 8.24km/L which equals 12.14L/100km, was not trying to mislead people, made a mistake in my units of measurement. I will rectify the problem.
My calculations are from extensive records from an 8000km round trip, so I believe they will be accurate for my vehicle. As the L400 specifications are 12L/100km, 12.14L/100km is pretty good for a 16year old car.
If I have made any other mistakes, please feel free to let me know!!
