Guys, I have searched everywhere and not sure what to do, I need a distributor for a 1990 3.0 V6 right hand drive pajero. Based on the VIN it says the part is MD149512

I am open to buy a new, third party, rebuilt, or used???

Any suggestions where I can find one would be awesome, the plug in on the side of the distributor is a rectangle not a circle.

Does anyone also know if the 1990 Monteros distributor would work? The pictures on the net look just like the one I have?

If its the same motor it should work.
Also look on wikepedia and see what
Other vehicles used that (your) motor,
Might be able to save yourself some
Cash and make it easier to find.

Right On! 8-)

That looks just like it, its the 4 pin rectangle connector? Every other Distributor I have brought in had a round connector.

Do you have one in stock?

I think you have the 6G72 engine,
here is a list (from wikepedia) on
vehicles that used it. Keep in mind
some of those engines (especially the newer
ones) are going to have different peripherals.
(dohc,double turbos,more electronics ect.)
That price from Assinbone is not too bad
and probably the easiest.

Applications

* 1990–2001 Mitsubishi GTO (aka Mitsubishi 3000GT, Dodge Stealth)
* 1989–1995 Plymouth Acclaim/Dodge Spirit
* 1987–2000 Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager
* 1990–1993 Dodge Ram 50
* 1988–1993 Dodge Dynasty
