Annoyed by reverse beeping?

I kind of thought it was cute at first, but now, I'm not liking it so much. Any ideas on how to rid of the meep, meep, meep as I reverse?

under the back bumper ther you will find the culprit it s a small little tube like thing with a cupple of wires pull them off and tape up the ends thats it thats all, or just pull off the black one.i know the beeping ,we pulled into a campground late and i needed to back in ,i was quit imberast so ya thats all i did but make sure to tape them off really well [the exsposed wires that is.]

rdub: I think you had something aftermarket... the Delica (as stock) only beeps INSIDE the cab (and fairly quiet at that)
from outside the vehicle people can't tell I'm in reverse... but I have a warning in the vehicle to remind me what gear I'm in....

yes, it's inside with mine as well.
I'll see if I can find a similar wire placement though, thanks rdub
