M12 oil drain plug

So far the search engine has produced the M12 bolt as the oil pan drain plug.
L300 engine.
Has this been confirmed?

As far as I remember I was using the M17 wrench, so the tread should be M14.

Last oil change I did the guys I bought the filter from didn't have any crush washers so I re-used (shudder) my old one. Anyway, in case this happens again in the future, has anyone used one of those generic copper crush washers you can get at Canadian Tire? I know the aluminum ones for the Delica's seem to be a folded type with a lip, I'm just wondering if a flat copper one would leak?

Absolutely. I even used plastic ones from CT.
