I am a newbie at these vehicles but this looks odd.

I'm impressed you still have that rubber strip on the front edge of the skid plate. We had knocked/rip both of ours off withing the first summer of Delica use.
Maybe contact FishSlapper (great handle), and see if he has any more of the custom Delica skid plates.
