L400 Gauges

Thought something else had to be done with the gauges on the dash, went with the Autometer cobalt series with led lights in the back, they did not really work with different sizes, and I wanted to have Boost, Pyro & voltage all on the dash, Trans temp is also there, but not mounted yet.
Aluminum plate for a back ground to get rid of the plastic.
what do you think?
Like it, hate it? tell me what you think...

that looks awsome, i put the regular white autometer boost and pyro in my double gauge pod in my L-300 but that has me beat by far... maybe my wife will allow me to do that in her pajero...

Thanks, glad you like it, It was easy to do, the holes are allready in the body of the pod but the center one was to large, so I slowly cut a template from the back of a cheerios box, until it fit just right, then traced that out of a piece of aluminum, my 2" hole saw , die grinder to make it just snug and then a bit of a polish, if you have a few tools, even just a hole saw and even just a grinder with a zip disk, this can be done in about an hour with making a template.
:-D

if you want to angle them towards the driver more (not sure of the angle in those fancy L400) you can cut plastic plumbing pipe on an angle.

looks good

Noel,
Nice job, the look of the pod is top notch.
