Seat question

Is there a particular model or year that has the mid row bench seats with the fold down seat on the side. It looks as though the majority of them have mid row buckets. Or is this something you request when specing a vehicle.

Cheers

There are four general seat configurations that come with the Delicas. Typically the ones that we get here are of the "A" configuration (capt. seats) or the "B" configuration (bench w/jump seat). Both middle configurations face foreward or backwards. The "A" configuration will be found in the Exceed, Super Exceed; the "B" configuration will be found in the Chamonix, Jasper, & so on.

A good place to visit on this site is "Delica Canada Technical", which can be found in the forum index. There in you will find many useful forums, including "Delica FAQ Section" which has a wealth of information in it's two pages. Worth the read... smiles.

Hi LM, as Falco says, the seat config is general. Remember, these vans were considered a luxury vehicle for Japan, so each one could be preselected from a Menu (I'll have a this and this but not that). So for you, make a list of absolute must have, and absolute must not, then just take the nicest one you can find within that. Note that if rear shoulder belts are needed (ie you carry kids or passengers often in the back seats), then this is something that varies by year and is not able to be retrofitted properly here IMHO. Cheers, Christine.
