Pajero/L400 shock lengths

Alright, Im in the market for some new shocks and springs for the rear. Im a suspension newb, so I need to know the shock length front and rear, and any other info I may need when looking for aftermarket shocks. How do I describe the mounting method etc? I will be looking for stock +2" since I'd like to replace or space out the current springs.

Any suggestions as far as a quality shock? I would prefer something adjustable like the Rancho rs9000...

Also, does anyone know of anywhere local to either get coil spacers or new coils for the SWB to get 2" lift, or does anyone have a used set of LWB springs?

Thanks.

Does your SWB have the adjustable suspension? If so, are you planning on removing it or will you be looking to replace the worn out shocks with the adjustables?

I really dont need the in cab control. I'd rather some quality shocks that I can adjust when I leave the pavement.

How will you remove the motors? Can the mounts be used without the motors?

Pretty sure you just unbolt it and unplug the power. The ecu will still work, so the lights in the dash will still be on, but that doesn't bother me. You still raise an interesting question, and Im sure someone will chime in.

Im more concerned about what shock length I should go with if Im planning on lifting two inches at the same time, or in the near future. Also, im a total newb to what types of mounts, sizes of mounts, and what info I need to know to buy aftermarket.

Thanks.
