That is a good question. Here is a link that might help you with some of it: L300 Vehicle Identification
Now I am trying to think where else we might find info on this, outside of Google...
Another link is here: General ~ Vehicle Identification
Now having briefly scanned through those two links and I haven't found it yet. The thought has occurred to me that the Q might mean "vehicle", or "light truck?".... but that's where I'm at right now....

Not a big deal at all, however the fact still remains that we still don't know what the Q or Y represent. I have only seen the Q. Where did you see the Y? Also, when you think about it.... perhaps too much, one tends to suggest the the Q is a Y ~ after all the most commonly asked Query is "why". Which ultimately reports that where other societies have a Q&A section, we here at Delica Canada have a Q&Y section. Why, you ask, does Delica Canada have a Q&Y section? Well, before you know it you have moved us to the next level of "why". Perhaps it is because we at Delica Canada are not satisfied with the status quo and need to know more. Nor are we so arrogant as to think that we have all the answers. Unlike the CADA ~ our minds are open beyond fractional statistics... our minds can see more abstractly into the realm of quantum possibilities. This could explain why we feel the need to drive little wagons that are build on geometric formulae with codes that resemble algebra equations.
Hope this helps
