Ho Ho HO. It is time for the annual Xmas 4x4 Toy Run 5 Dec 2010 Sunday 9am. Decorate your vehicle if you want to win great prizes (North Shore Off Road prizes, etc). maybe even beat the TardisDeli record of 3 years winning prizes for best decorated 4x4.
Judging at 9:30 am at Guildford Mall (near Walmart). Then 10am drive to Bear Creek Community Centre for pancake breakfast by donation (yummy), where you hand in your unwrapped new gift for a child, and your Food Bank donation. Wander around, look at other 4x4's, enjoy.
Suggestion: put your decorations on at the judging location, so they don't blow off while driving on the highway before you get to the judging; or decorate the interior.
See you all there. Anyone wanting to convoy from Burnaby at 9am??
Cheers, Christine and Jay.

Actually, if I am not mistaken the Super Exceeded is a 2X6. So, 2 + 6 = 8; 4 + 4 = 8 ~ looks like you're in, SE, hell, if you get a decent paint job in time you will likely win. Or... tie a tree to her... just some handy tips to think about... grins.

I love your math, I'll leave the front driveshoft out until after the parade!!!
I was to finish the bodywork today but the snow stopped that as my car is a no go in this stuff, so looks like paint should be applied mon-tues

Think he needs to pull a trailer and Falco you need to go back to math class:
2x6=12 4X4=16, but if he pulls a small trailer: 2X8=16
therefore 16=16 and superexceeded..ed can come

Ehem... You only read the numbers. This is quite common and I wouldn't feel too bad about it. I was actually using al-gebra and other weapons of math instruction. You may notice that I also included the letters "S" & "E" (as in ~ looks like you're in, SE). SE is a "State Extended", which is not that common but does happen, as we can see in the current case with "Super Exceeded" (the wit wasn't lost on me, Arnold). Apart from standing for Super Exceeded, they also represent the potential of a forth axle (such as a trailer). This combined with the fact that the vehicle used to be two 4X4's, thereby giving us the forth axle in itself then the current vehicle doesn't need a trailer because it still involves the extra axle, in reserve. If the forth axle was indeed still attached then we might have an issue as it wouldn't add up but because the forth axle is a "potential" axle then everything is square, you follow? So I used addition because, well... quite frankly some people don't get the more advanced mathematical protocol and it's just easier ~ but there you are.
Falco.

Hi All, reminder, 1 week today until the toy run. Time to haul the decorations out, and instead of decorating your living room, just decorate your van for a few days, then after the toy run you can decorate your living room. Remember those power pack inverters can run your christmas lights in your van, so cool. See you there, Christine and Jay.
