Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hey there everyone,

I've been lurking on the forums for a while and trying to read everything I can on the different Delica models. I was hoping to impose on some people so I can see the differences between the L300s and L400s. I'll take interested parties out for coffee if they wouldn't mind me poking around their rides. I'm looking at jaggedfish's L300 sometime over the next week, so a look at an L400 would be awesome.

Thanks a ton in advance. I'm looking forward to eventually being inducted into the Calgary branch of the Delica Cult...er...club.

Hey... we wanna see that new ride of yours! Can you post some pics at least? I know you were holding out for the perfect one so am excited to see it. From your avatar, it looks like we both have white L400's now. Mine's not here yet but should be soon! Excited to get the new one but will be sad to part with the current one... it's been really good to me and I love the look of it.

We are overdue for an adventure too. December is pretty busy but we should make an effort to get out there in January for a little jaunt. Perhaps John (geez! another John!) will have a bus by then and can join us for some off-road lessons. We can see how many Johns... uh... Delicas we get out this time.

Thanks to both Ian and Jonathan for letting me ask questions and poke around in their rides. I really do hope that I have a Delica sooner rather than later, but I am going to try and be patient and wait for the perfect (for me) 400 to appear in Mardy's showroom.

I am well overdue for some off-road education!

I would like to attend my first Alberta meat, but my work shedule sux. Hey, what was the most successful Alberta meat? approximately how many delis do we have here in Edmonton/Calgary? cant be too many!

I believe our biggest Calgary meet was 8 Delicas at one time. There are more out there... just hard to get everyone together at once. Our off-road outting to Maclean Park netted 7 Delicas and there was a Pajero that showed up in the morning but couldn't come out to play for the day.
The more the merrier! I would like to arrange another outting (or at least a meet) in January sometime to test out my new 400 once it arrives.

I know of about 30 Deli forum members and owners who live in Alberta south of Red Deer. Hard to get too many out at any one time, especially for those living in Stettler, Banff, etc.

so then now that the silly season is done with lets start 2011 with a bang...... we need to go for a winter tour / explore someplace...... whose in !!!!!

I would be up for some adventure! My new L400 has me itchin' for some action. Got a taste while I was out on the coast for the holidays and now I will be having a "little suspension work" done on Monday

Would be great to catch up with everyone from before and hopefully some new people too!

I'd be up for a meet, missed the trip to MacLean Creek so still wanting to meet and chat with some Calgary Deli owners.

I've got winter tires on my starWagon, so I'd be up for some exploring too!
