There is much info on this subject with our L400's;
be aware that Mitsubishi officially announced a recall in 2003 on over 6000 of our
vehicles in Japan due to the fuel pump issue. I know that this will not help us that already have
our L400's, but hopefully it can assist future owners. If you are looking to get an L400
ensure that the fuel pump has been rebuilt by the importer to save some future $$$ and get
it in writing. Period.

Are you sure this recall relates to our first generation l400s?
If they only recalled 6000 vehicles I assume the issue was just on a very small batch of vehicles.

Where did you get the information from? Any official sources?

It was from an Australian newspaper automobile column in 2003, not for 2003 Delica's.
I went back to try and source the article to upload the link and I could not find my way
back to it. I was originally on the Aussie Deli site and followed a link, but never saved it.
It was officially from MCM. You can check the Mitsubishi recall list for your vehicle, enter
the chassis no. and it will give you a recored of recall work done on your specific vehicle.
According to Mitsubishi's records, mine only had recalls done to it to 2000, nothing after.

Once I find it again, I will post the link.
