Camperizing - Insulation

Insulation is a major issue in these little metal boxes that some of us choose to sleep in. I am (slowly) camperizing my rig for winter camping/boondocking but before I address any other mods or issues for the interior the insulation needs to be dealt with.
I am leaning towards mixing ceramic microbeads (http://www.hytechsales.com/insulating_p ... tives.html) with rockerguard 1:1 then rolling/brushing it on my entire interior, I currently have foil backed bubble insulation cut out for my windows, I pondered cutting/pasting it on my panels but am hesitant to use an adhesive as I don't want to deal with peeling etc.
I was wondering what others are doing for insulation solutions. Any major projects on my truck are postponed until spring due to a lack of a covered workspace so by the time I'm ready to insulate maybe I'll have better ideas.
