Re: Need L300 Original Purchase Price (MSRP) for Insurance!
Got another quote. This time from Desjardins. $98/month! SWEET! No mention of MSRP from them. Just an appraisal. Now we're good to go.

Re: Motor oil analysis and results
It looks like this thread should have been split from Sept.13/11 on, (with the sales pitch from Uli being the first post in the newly created "Trabold Filters" thread), not where it was eventually split. But anyway, does anyone have any more results? I'm curious about these bypass systems ...

Re: L300 - Dual Bypass Oil Filter Install
It will be getting extra heat off the exhaust in that location. (Not sure if that really matters though).

Re: Ontario Insurance Nightmare - No more RH Drives in Ontar
I just got off the phone with Desjardins and got a quote for $98/month!! SWEET!! Here's the story: first guy told me they don't insure RHD vehicles. I asked him to double check and he came back on and said that they're in the middle of changing their company policy to deny RHD's, but that it hasn't ...

Re: L300 - Dual Bypass Oil Filter Install
Is that the Amsoil BMK-23? I just finished reading the "Bypass Oil Filters" thread, but it didn't look like anyone had done this mod to an L300 at that point. There was talk about doing it, but no conclusions/pictures. There were some nice pictures of a Frantz install though. Is the L300 o...

Re: Bypass Oil Filters
Drumster, after all of this discussion, which type of bypass did you end up going with? You mentioned that you liked the Amsoil dual remote. Did you go that route? If so, did you drill and tap the threads yourself? Where did you end up mounting the unit? A conclusion to your story would be appreciat...

Re: Need L300 Original Purchase Price (MSRP) for Insurance!
Thanks everyone for the help! (And the laughs). I checked out those websites. The model that I'm looking at buying came up with a price of 2254K JPY and had ~$18,700 in brackets. (Probably USD). (Converted when?) With today's conversion, 2254K JPY = ~$30,000 USD = ~ $30,000 CAD, a difference of more...

Need L300 Original Purchase Price (MSRP) for Insurance!
Does anyone know the original purchase price of an L300? Say, from 1991 to 1994, various models? (Base, Chamonix, etc.) I've been searching all over the place for this information. Hopefully someone can help me out. Background info: I'm in Ontario and I'm planning on buying an L300 some time soon. I...

Re: tune up
I see you haven't got any replies to this post yet. I'm wondering the same thing, so instead of starting a new thread, I'll just bump this one. I don't have a van yet, and I don't know much about them, but I found the following list of tune-up items in an add on the Delica Trader posted by Mardy at ...

Re: Ontario fall meet
My wife and I would love to come, but we have a stupid wedding that day. I would love to meet some of you and check out your rigs some time though. Perhaps at the next meet. Maybe by then we'll actually have a Delica! (?)

Ontario wannabe Delica owner - buy in BC and drive East?
It seems like most Ontario Delica owners are people who have (reluctantly) moved (back) to Ontario from out West and brought their Delicas along. But how about people who went out West for the specific purpose of purchasing your Delica? From a couple of posts, it sounds like this has generally been ...

Re: West Coast Delica Heading East
Well, I sure hope you're right. I don't know how to quote a post from a different thread, but "strada-caster" has posted in "Ontario Insurance Nightmare - No more RH Drives in Ontario" that "Desjardins is no longer accepting policies on RHD vehicles." But, from reading ...
