Re: another off-roading adventure planned

We got up to just south of Diversion. We ran out of time. I doubt that the the road up that far has any gates on it, but as i never went the extra 2 Kms to Diversion, I can't say for sure. Those roads up there are well used and should be passable.

Re: another off-roading adventure planned

love those singing dancing eyeballs! haha well, it's fairly easy to find. Just before Jordan River you should see Forebay Road, right on my pin-drop. Once you get up on those trails you can pretty much go where you want.

another off-roading adventure planned

My brother is flying in for Xmas this year and I am going to take him out back of Jordan river for some off-roading. It looks like it will have to be during the week, next week. If anyone is interested, let me know and we can set up some dates...cheers!

Re: Underground parking and strata woes

So anyways, back to the point of this thread. From what the wife tells me, our strata president is a bit of a cycling nut, which would certainly explain the issues he has with my truck in general. As for idling time, what i have been reading is that we on the Island rarely see temps below zero. So t...

Re: Underground parking and strata woes

I think it's pretty clear that we don't idle the engine, and by cold in Victoria, we are talking maybe zero c. it's counter-intuitive to me, but my only experience in the past is petrol engines...so there ya go. I have to say that the more i read about it the better. It hadn't even occurred to me th...

Re: Underground parking and strata woes

all good advice as usual. To be honest, I really don't idle my car anymore than anyone else. usually I will start the truck, buckle the kids in the back (all of two minutes to do that) then drive out. Good advice about not idling though. I always thought that you should idle the engine for a few min...

Underground parking and strata woes

Long time since I have been on...i never went anywhere I just had trouble logging in...but anyways, i thought this silliness would be worth a post. I have owned my wonderful L400 Delica for over two years now. it's been a great truck for me and the family! We luckily have underground parking in the ...
