Re: L300 Stretch updates
Definitely intercool the beast with a good water to air intercooler if you haven't considered it - that'll open up the opportunity for a bit more boost and a few more ponies, plus with WTA you don't have to run 2" air piping to the front of the vehicle... just 1/4" flexible water piping :)...

Re: Project Dino Evo - How we build our camper van
Who invited this Toyota driver anyway? Better that than deluded Nissan drivers! Felix, one thing to keep in mind is that any exposed metal from the body will be a "cold bridge", which means it'll be a direct conduit for the cold from outside to inside, and may render your other ...

Re: Snow - chains, driving, etc....
Interesting reading. For me, reading that and the rejoinder article , I'd still be tempted to put them on the front. Yes, the back may swing around faster, but it would also depend on the conditions really. If you're in snow over a couple of inches, the back is way less likely to come round, and you...

Re: Snow - chains, driving, etc....
If using one set of chains, the best place to use them is the rear. Ke? Isn't it best to put them on the front wheels, particularly in a 4x4 vehicle, that way you can still steer and have propulsion. Sticking them on the back means you'd more likely just propel yourself, understeering, into a ditch...

Nice shiny Paj, lots of love there :) Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor!
Paul, first picture, back half may give you some indication as to the fuel type.

Re: Provent oil catch can
Definitely - my post above wasn't exactly a closed emissions loop. A regular catch can will get rid of most oil vapours in the system, however he was detailing an add-on system to that which actually helps to draw the air through and lower the pressure within the system, creating less resistance. It...

Re: Provent oil catch can
Just cross posting this from another forum when a similar topic came up as to the effectiveness and whether it is worth having a catch can. What this guy actually suggested is that while catch cans in general are okay, it's still a closed system and you're not entirely getting rid of the vapours. He...

Just don't mention the Toyota drivers. We mentioned it once, but we think we got away with it!FalcoColumbarius wrote:To be quite honest, Liam ~ we've even been known to let the odd Nissan Safari in but don't tell too many people about it, the neighbourhood is bad enough as it is... smiles.
