Re: Looking for a L400 in Vancouver
Hi, You are describing exactly what I have and what I do with my Delica. I have a 1997 L400 SWB and like you, I needed a low roof model to squeeze into my underground parking. I built a platform to sleep on that allows me to store camping gear underneath. As a bonus, I was walking by Majestic Futon ...

Very cool. Something for me to consider over the winter. Right now I just wish I had a dash light dimmer switch.

Re: How do you say...?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that Delica was actually a contraction of "Delivery Car". So to add to the confusion, I sometimes use this as well.

Whistling Noise After Blocking The EGR Hose
Hi, I've been searching the forum with no luck for an answer to a simple question. Before installing an EGR blanking plate, I wanted to see how things worked out by blocking the hose attached to the EGR. The one thing I noticed is that there is a loud whistling noise being emitted now. My question i...

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
I ordered them from SuperBrightLEDs after striking out locally. It's a small gamble for 20 bucks and I hope they do the trick!

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Kitty Van Gogh got fresh oil, new transmission fluid and lubed. I also ordered Festoon LEDs to replace all the interior lights and fixed a loose speaker mount that I discovered was missing some hardware near the glove box. That lower section of the dash doesn't squeak anymore!

Re: Back door!
Hi,
I had mine rebuilt by Strutwise in Surrey. Frank did a great job on them and rebuilt them better than new!

Give him a call, you won't be disappointed.
Cheers!

A Trip Down The West Coast (Photo Link Now Added)
Hi, My L400 and I just returned from a trip down the coastal route to San Francisco. We then headed East over to Reno and back up through the interior of California, Oregon and Washington. In all, I covered almost 4200 kms without so much as a hiccup. Fuel mileage averaged 11 litres/100 km and the b...

Privacy Curtain Rod Mount Location
Does anyone know if drilling a hole in the area above the seat belt hardware (in the general area where the double headed arrow is) will cause any damage underneath? I picked up a cheap expandable curtain rod from Canadian Tire and thought if I drilled a hole on each side then the curtain rod would ...

Re: Rear Hatch Mod
You might want to check with Strutwise in Surrey. I had him rebuild the struts on my L400 because the back hatch was sagging really bad in cold weather. I'm about 6 feet tall and I have lots of headroom clearance with the back hatch open. Makes for a great shelter in the rain. http://www.strutwise.c...
