4 seconds at 4*C!
Although that doesn't seem ample because it takes 2-3 tries to get it started. :(

Re: Second Click Whayyyyyyy too long
I love the click-time survey, I can't wait to get off work in 30m and give it a shot, then upload. Thanks again for the reply, I didn't realize the pulsing click-on/click-off. The van is definitely harder to start than it needs to be now that it's cold. 4-5 cranks with ~30% throttle. I suspect it co...

Re: turbo valve?
Haha do you live on the forums? Thank you! I actually was confused, the close up pictures with a plastic sock on it confused me for the actuator.
I will investigate a bolt or shrink wrap. Thanks again.
Isn't the diaphragm in the actuator at risk of breaking in >12PSI?
Just IIRC from the manual.

Re: Second Click Whayyyyyyy too long
I did some searching around and didn't want to start a whole new thread, but I'm going to take out my glow plug board tomorrow as I am working closer to home for three days, but hopefully if I list a few (similar) symptoms someone can help isolate what really is going on? The first click happens dur...

Re: block heater
How does a remote start work on a diesel? Can it operate the glow-plugs and wait? Whats the deal?
& Does the L300 not have a dedicated spot for a block heater already? Was it not an Accessory or Option?

Re: L300 diesel exhaust ?
Exhaust tuning is a very complex subject, and well-intentioned wisdom that applies to some engines can be inappropriate for others. Diesel engines in particular have their own peculiarities, and rules of thumb that work on gas engines sometimes don't work so well on diesels. ... Thanks again Growle...

Re: turbo valve?
Wow! Great pics, thank you.
So in both of these scenarios you don't have the line from the turbo attached anymore. So how do you control the wastegate??
Where exactly is the pressure releasing from out of curiousity, Is it the threads where the valve is screwed in?

Re: L300 diesel exhaust ?
That's very interesting, did he explain the pros / cons of expanding the pipe diameter? And which other areas would suffer?

Re: turbo valve?
Thanks for the tip, plan to try when its less wet out.
I only wanted to change from my current 9 to 12psi, should it be ok? Or should I measure the shaft.
Thank you :)

Re: Fuel Economy tips and tricks
Wow that's a big difference but interesting to know, whenever I do renos and pick up a bunch of supplies from RONA I definitely notice the vans sluggish feel, but I appreciate how it holds the back tyres down In the rain! :-D I've been experimenting with leaving the van in D while stopped versus put...

Re: Fuel Economy tips and tricks
Sorry for res-ing my dead thread but I have news! So I took Falcos advice at the end of May? and I replaced oil, Sakura Oil Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter. Filled entire fuel filter with injector cleaner after replacing it. Replaced my turbo core with a new one from China, and waste gate is stuck a...
