Re: removing Alternator issues
I had to remove my oil filter, intermediate steering shaft and one or two other small things. Also get yours rebuilt, the alternator I bought new never fit correctly and I could never get the alt belt to tighten properly on a mk 1 pajero.

all lights flicker slighlty at all times
Just replaced my alternator and voltage is were it should bex but the voltage will change one tenth (.1) of a volt every half second. My engine speed is also rolling. I will change my fuel filter and check my wiring. Anything else it may be?

Eric

intercooler fan motor 2.5l
Hello All, On the bottom of my intercooler theres a fan with a motor. This motor has a nipple on the bottom that attatches to a hose. This hose will not remain on and hasnt been on for a long time by the looks of things. What is the purpose of this hose? It runs to a larger diameter hose attatched t...

Re: What's with Husky Diesel?
I drive a old swb paj and recently started buying diesel out in the valley instead of the husky by my house. Been getting 50-75 more km per tank. A tank now lasts me 450 to 475km.

aircon belt removal woes
Hello all,
My ps pump leaked and i am replacing my ps, alt and ac belt. I can get the ps belt of and alt belt loose.
The lower bolt on the aircon tensioner seems jammed, the top bolt is free.
Is there a secret to removing the aircon belt I am unaware of before I really pull on it.
Thanks,
Eric

2.5 litre coolant loss
Hey all, I have a mk1 1991 paj and I am loosing roughly a tablespoon of coolant monthly. Normal Temps, engine runs fine and there is no coolant in my oil or vise versa. Also new rad cap as it was leaking lots when I first bought the vehicle 5-6 months ago. My exhaust looks and smells normal too. Sho...

Re: Pajero section
Thanks Falco,
Maybe it would be easier to categorize by generation of Pajero/Montero. Just because one runs diesel and one runs gas doesn't mean info cant be shared between the two as most parts are the same.
Thanks,
Eric

I can wait. My bulbs are good, already checked
I am assuming there is a common something for all three of those lights that is not functioning.

Need a wiring Diagram
Hello,
My left turn signal and marker and running light will not light up. A wiring diagram in English would be nice to have at the moment.
Its a MK 1 91 SWB.
Thanks,
Eric
