More foolish questions...
I've been trying to figure out the difference between a high roof and a low roof, and not able to see any difference from any pictures. Is this a matter of inches or something more? I did come across pix of a Deli with a very high roof made out of fibreglass...is this a high roof? What about camperi...

Re: Hello from Ontario, soon to be a VanIslander
I swear I've seen at least one cruising around the Trenton area.

Re: Gas>Diesel?
Thanks for the good words. From thtty much what I'm getting with e numbers you've given me, this is pretty much what I'm getting with the {cough} Astro. But then, there's all this four wheel drive gear I'm not pushing. Can you tell me a little about the L400 diesel engine? I gather it's a 2.8L, whic...

Re: Post your call sign's HAM's
I have two decent reasons to change my callsigns when I move. I can get one with my initials, and I can get a two letter call, (which is a pipedream in VE3 land). I'm not all that attached to the calls I have ATM. We shall see.

Re: Gas>Diesel?
This is such a great thread! My own $0.02 then some questions... I've never tried the Dragonfly, but I have a very faithful Whisperlite Internationale, which I've run on white gas and kersene, but never diesel. I think it's capable of doing so though. Easy to use and maintain, very tough. I'd have a...

Here is VE3TUX/VA3PSB. Obviously once I'm on the Island (six more weeks), these'll change. Nata You can keep your call sign when you move, if you want. So it doesn't have to change. 73s de VE6FVD When did that change? I understood I had 30 days to inform IC and obtain a new call for my new area.

Where to get a Deli serviced?
I'm moving to the Comox Valley, and I'm really jonesing for a Deli of my own. I'm not that technically inclined. There's some stuff I'll do and much more that I won't touch with a ten foot barge pole. What is available on the Island, especially the Valley, in terms of places that will do repairs on ...

Hello from Ontario, soon to be a VanIslander
Hello all.. I don't yet have my first Delica, but I was on VanIsle last week in preparation for my forthcoming move to Comox. I was already familiar with them, as there's at least one in this area. But on the Island, they seem to be everywhere! I have totally fallen in love with them, as they seem t...
