Limited Slip Differential $100
Will be able to deliver to lower mainland in April, currently located in Prince Rupert. Vehicle it was removed from had approx 150,000km, will need adjustment before installing as it did howl a little when last used.

Re: classic audio
Big fan of vintage audio, especially late 60's early 70's Sansui. Have a Sansui RA-500 Reverb amp, Sansui QS-1 Quadrophonic processor, a Sansui AU-6500 amplifier, Marantz A-50 amplifier and my best a Sansui 8080 integrated amp - it is a great heavy beast, but wow can it crank out clean crisp sound. ...

There a few of us out here in the northwest. There a couple of other L300's here in Prince Rupert, an L400 in Terrace and a couple L300's, an L400 in Hazelton, couple of 300's and 400's in the Bulkley Valley. I have a nice big parking lot here at the Totem Lodge in Prince Rupert if anybody wanted to...

Re: uhaul booking
I believe the U-Haul car trailers weigh about 2200 lbs on their own. I considered towing my Citroen (1200lb) with Delica and U-Haul, but the trailer alone is just to heavy to consider the prospect.

Re: Coming to Canada
Hi Colin,
While in Prince Rupert we would love to host you at the Totem Lodge Motel. For other Deli drivers visiting the area, come see me at the Totem Lodge so you can get the Delica Lovers rate (and special rates for car clubs if anyone wants to pass this along).

Re: Post your other non-JDM unique world import
They never did get 90 mpg. But the are pretty close all things considered. By all accounts Andre Citroen was quite adamant about certain things. Probably why they went broke and Michelin eventually bought them, and now Puegeot is the current owner. The glory days are long gone, but the Traction Avan...

Nice looking 2CV. I have to go drive mine ffrom Houston, BC to Prinnce Rupert some time this week. I should sell my little Tin Snail, but I love it more that my Delica. The Citroen 2CV is perhaps the best car ever designed. In 1930, the origanl design specs called for an average economy of 90 mpg. I...

Re: Rear Heater Protection
Hi Jesse, Just been lurking awhile. I drove my van home from my wedding last May on a fried clutch (1200 km) and the alternator cooked from Mt Robson to Houston, about 600km. Just made it home, the last 20 km, any hill would elicit nasty slippage and very slow speeds. Pulled it into the driveway and...

Rear Heater Protection
Added some guard to the plastic rear heater on my L300. Mine had a few scars from strikes from foreign objects and wanted to prevent more destruction: deli_shield_web.jpg Also tidying up the rear bumper and plotting a front bumper and attaching the roof rack. I took some of the lift out (blocks in t...

Re: Defrosting Windows
Hi Fred, With both my diesel and gas Delica, heating and defrosting at -30C has never been an issue. I never use the recirculate air mode in any vehicle I drive. I would think that there may be a problem with your heater core in under the dash in a difficult but not impossible to get to spot. If you...

Don't forget the other social media out there. All MLA's and MP's are on Facebook. Mine is John Rustad, he has almost 3500 friends. I'm sure the rest of them have as many. Bring up the question with them on Facebook and see if we get more reaction. Might also be worth setting up a new Facebook group...

Re: Thinking about getting a Delica in Taiwan
On my last big road trip where I finally kept track of the mileage (GPS): Total Distance: 2925 km Gas consumed: 342.3 litres Fuel Economy: 11.7 l/100km or 24.14 mpg (imperial gallons) I am running 33's with a 5 speed. I tend to stay around the speed limit and don't push hard. This number appears to ...

Re: March 28th 2010 Tomahawk Breakfast?
Falco,
There will be a rider with me this time. Since I always wake up ridiculously early we will probably be there right around 9:00. We'll just hang out and wait for the rest to show up and go in for breakfast at 9:30.
Look forward to seeing familiar and new faces.
