Solution for sagging rear view mirror
My L400 S2 rear view mirror would say down in the heat making for annoying driving in the summer. The solution is to find a Gentex mirror on EBay with compass and temperature display and replace the whole thing. Simple and I wish I would have done it a year ago. https://goo.gl/photos/BeaApSpmnAY1o97...

Where to find replacement SPDT toggle switch for dash?
Search Montero or Pajero dash switches on EBay. You'll find the dimmers, A/T mode switches etc.

Samurai sword?
I assume "pushed in" is closed?
On mine the plastic knob broke off from the metal elbow containing the line. Turns out that stainless safety wire used for fasteners works great to fix it up.

Delica V6 frost plug replacement?
I have a leaking frost plug that is behind the starter motor on my L400 S2. Anyone tackle the same plug? If so I'm curious if you would share any tips or how you sis it. Direct access to that plug is very limited and almost completely blocked by the beefy body frame in that area. I'm worried we migh...

Tail lights out
I'm on the road in the middle of a vacation with the family and the dash and tail lights aren't working. Sure enough a 10 amp fuse is blown and seems to blow immediately if I replace it and switch the headlights on. Also the ignition will stay on even if I remove the key with the blown fuse and the ...

Re: Spare Keys
Key style is also the same as the 1995-1997 Talons and Eclipse and likely other Chryslers of the same era (Avenger etc).
Now if someone can find a source for the radio modules for the door locks, I'd be very happy. I'd love to have another key that can remotely lock/unlock the vehicle.

Re: Brake Bleeding Frustrations
If further bleeding doesn't help, the pedal dropping to the floor sounds like a master failure. Likely you killed the master during your bleed procedure.

Re: Reviews of mechanics on the island / Victoria
I personally haven't taken my Delica in to Lyall Street Service, but friends routinely get work done there and are quite happy.
For non Delica related work, I'd normally go to Cdn Tire at Admiral's Walk. The head tech is a friend and she is totally honest and does great work.

Re: Series 2 and OBD / JOBD
Thanks, I just purchased EvoScan and cable which is MUT2 compatible. I'm fairly confident it will connect, but I'd much rather have the Android Torque app be able to connect and display values on my dash. From browsing the Russian and other sites it looks like we have an "almost compatible"...

Re: Series 2 and OBD / JOBD
Thanks, for the links. Not quite what I was looking for as that is using the "old school" flashing light fallback.
It might take me a while, but I'll see if I can figure out exactly how the Mitsu JOBD works and post back here when I get some success.

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Had to re-tension the alternator belt as it was becoming embarrassing starting it up in the morning. The tensioner pulley looks pretty suspect (rusty and the bearing has play) so I'll see if I can find a replacement for that. The middle interior light was not coming on, and replacing the bulb prompt...

Series 2 and OBD / JOBD
Has anyone had a scan tool working with their Delica? Online research suggests that the protocol isn't quite standard OBD2, but Japanese JOBD. Rumour is that the protocol is ISO 9141-2 at a different speed than standard. I'm quite sure that MMC / Evoscan will work (MUT-2 compatible), but I'd like to...

Re: Finally Bought a Delica
I haven't taken my own pictures yet, but it's still listed on CCA's site: http://www.ccautos.ca/mitsubishi-delica-twin-sliding-doors/ It's the only one I've ever seen, and I understand that they are pretty rare. The downside is the middle seats don't move as the A/C equipment is under it. However it...

Finally Bought a Delica
The family and I picked up our new L400 6G72 powered with twin sliding doors from CCA.
This will be the third Mitsubishi in our driveway. Just wanted to say "Hi" as I've been lurking these forums for a year and a half now.

Re: Runaway engine and looking for advice
For the 4G63, you actually want a wideblock 4G63 or 4G64 with the 4G64 crank. The wideblock is found in RWD applications not DEMs. The Hyundai versions are also acceptable (G4CS etc). Pair that with a 4G63T DOHC head, cams, appropriate turbo and fueling and you could easily have a very drivable 300 ...
