Thanks falco!
Using that part number, I was able to track down a Raybestos set of calipers which are a direct matchup. Now I just have to go down to Lordco on a day that isnt a national holiday

Front caliper part #
I was on my way out to the lake today, when I began to smell the singularly awful smell of burning rubber. Pulled off to the side of the road, and there was a little cloud of smoke coming out of my wheel well. after a little investigation, it looks like my driver's side caliper is seized. Does anyon...

Re: High rpm before shift- Auto
Thanks for the reply. I just changed my tranny fluid a short while ago, the levels are fine, and the colour is still rosy. Adjusting the kickdown cable didnt accomplish anything for me, as some past posts suggested it would ( or perhaps it did for other people). Looks like I might be facing some sti...

High rpm before shift- Auto
So lately my rpm's have been way too high- 3500 to 3800- before shifting to third gear. I can prevent this if I take my foot off the pedal slightly, but if I just accelerate off the line than it revs high before shifting into third. This doesnt seem to occur in any other gear. Am I looking at a worn...

Bilstein part numbers- source?
Hello, I am looking to upgrade the suspension of my l300 from the horrible worn out stock shocks. I have read a lot of good things about Bilstein shocks, but I am unsure where to go about buying them in Canada, and also what part numbers are right. I have seen some part numbers floating around this ...

Torsion bar reindex DIY?
Hi,
I recently learned that it's much better to reindex the torsion bars, rather than crank them up all the way. Can anyone explain to me/ direct me to a link that explains how to reindex, rather than just crank up?

Slow rad leak?
So the other day I took a look under my deli and noticed a small damp spot. Upon further investigation I realized that it was coolant. I got under with a flashlight and the source appears to be the right hand side of the rad. I could see it beading up on the lower extremity of the rad housing. The b...

Alternator adjustment bolt view?
Hey everyone, So after my battery and overheating lights came on last week, I got underneath and discovered that the adjustment bolt on the top of my alternator was completely GONE. I've ordered the part, but I'm just wondering if anyone has a shot of a regular l300 alternator and adjustment bolt se...

Fresh Island Deli-meat
:M Hello all, Decided to join the ranks of BC deli enthusiasts this weekend! Just picked up my dream car: a 1992 Delica l300! After my old car was rear-ended, and reading about the incredible journey of Dino through South America, I knew it was time to pull the pin. http://dinoevo.de/about/ I plan o...
