Re: is this forum dead?
LOL. Well, for me the technology running this forum is super dated. The process for uploading images is rough. But, I do respect the volunteers and all of the hard work that goes into maintaining it. The interface is also very dated. Seems that DelicaForum is the active community these days. Perhaps...

4D56 0.50 Pistons & Pins for Sale
Well, I really messed that up. I managed to buy, not only flush valve-type but alto 0.50mm over pistons & wrist pins. Wow... Sometimes I'm astonished that I can walk upright, Haha!! Anyway, if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to sell them at cost plus shipping from the Victoria, BC area. The s...

Re: Leaking Injector - persistent and stubborn
Well, that was interesting. Just in case the 71 ppl that checked out this post are wondering, it was the fuel pipe!! Crazy. The pipe from the injector to the pump much have been grooved and wasn't seating right, no matter how many times I tried. I have another motor awaiting a rebuild and voila, no ...

Leaking Injector - persistent and stubborn
Hi all! I searched and I searched and here's a new 'leaking injector' thread. My #4 injector (rear) is leaking. It appears to be leaking at/around the return tube/nut area. * Replaced the injector with a known good one. New washers. still leaks. * Tightened all to torque. * Replaced fuel return pipe...

Steering Rack and Pipes 91 L300
Hi, looking for a steering rack for an L300. It can be leaky, but the shafts need to be free of pitting. Also really need the 2 pipes that run to the Power Steering pump. Will pay for shipping or pick up on Vancouver Island.

Re: mystery loud sound from front of engine
Hi. You might have sorted this out, but one thing to watch is the rear most exhaust manifold bolts. They tend to shake loose and a little leak can sound like a worse issue. Not really sure what 'type' of sound you're hearing. Anyway, your post didn't get much attention. :) Cheers. A worse issue woul...

Desperately Searching for MB351600 - power steering pipe
Hi. I'm desperately trying to locate this part MB351600. It's the 'pressure' line coming off of the steering rack. I had 3 vans and it was seized on 2 of them. I had to use the one good one on a van that I recently sold. I've checked everywhere including Amayama which has a delivery date of Dec, 31 ...

Re: Battery Killer
Hi, I meant to post this sooner, the issue was the voltage regulator. Most likely, as I replace the whole alt with a spare and all is well. Thanks for all the feedback.

Battery Killer
Hi, thanks for the tip. I was wondering about that, but I would have thought that the symptoms would be a little different. This was a catastrophic end to 2 batteries over a period of like a month. Dead, no recharging. Battery was fully charged in the morning for a drive (a week or 2 after the first...

Battery Killer
Okay, I've found that this is the AC lead, which was unplugged for a reason. I am still interested in the location of the sense wire. Sad story is that this van was one day away from landing on a new owner. :(

Battery Killer
Hi. I've hunted around the forum a bit and I think I'm close. However, I always appreciate the group insight. I've killed 2 batteries. Stone cold dead. Driving fine for a couple of weeks, glow system good. No issues. Come home. Park. Check the van. .04v on the battery. The latest was a nice AGM. Fro...
