Sorry to hear. Definitely not enough elbow grease when prepping. I would think all the hard work is sanding all the rust parts off. I'd hope he would have done at least 2 coats of white after the primer. Rust is coming through paint in my opinion.

Took me awhile to find one but I was lucky to find roof rack/basket (a little rusty) on craigslist last year. I was also able to find some sportrack gutter cross bars. Check amazon.ca too.

I've seen around 2-3 L300 parked in a 6 block radius where I live in my neighbourhood. An L400 is close by too. I see usually one every other day driving through kitsilano to east vancouver. Love to know how many are here.

Glad to be on here. I'm Ross and have had my L300 for about a year now. Just about to hit the 200,000K mark. Love seeing fellow delica owners on the road and giving the wave. Plan on heading down to Washington coast for some surfing this summer.
