Local garage change

Their main JDM guy has moved out an started his own shop. Leaving the other shop with non qualified mechanic as far a JDM and De...

Turbo possibility???
Just had my turbo head south on me. Does anybody know the upgrade or comparable part. I thought I read somewhere that a turbo from a Subaru would match up given the triangular at the adapter plate. Has anyone done this swap? Had success and has it been better in the long run? Mine is a 94 L400 2.8 T...

Transmission Issue at 50khm to 80kmh
Following I had my tranny flushed and my TPS (Trottle Position Sensor) swapped out. Not sure if your Generation 2 L400 has that I think it to do with earlier models (mines a 94). You have low kms too! ( I’m over 200,000) You might wanna look those up and see If it’s relevant to your van and issues. ...

LT 235 75 15 104/101s tires on stock l400 rims
I think those tires are on 50% of the upgrades guys are doing. They are decently price and look aggressive.
Much like the BF a/t or m/t
Did you tell them, it’s not for soccer practice but rather for performance and traction!!

That’s sucks Don’t know to much about Toyota’s but getting the parts should be easy if they are available. You’re in the right neck of the woods. I suggest starting there if one of these guys can diagnosis for you! You could start the process. If you have to be back home. You might have to make anot...

Looking to buy a Delica
Why don’t you buy used or local? You’ll save on a provincial inspection and you can see it first hand before you buy. Not to mention sales taxes from dealers. I’m just saying... Alberta is good because no PST or HST. There’s a bit more to choose from in the west here too! Velocity rubbed me the wron...

Connect with people on hear post your location if you’re comfortable. Maybe someone can help you navigate in your area. These vans are popular the closer to the west coast the better as far as getting the parts you need faster. I don’t think parts are an issue sometimes you’ll have to wait. Diagnosi...

Starting Issues, Super Cold Temps in Ontario
This is my first Winter with my 94 L400 diesel. But not my first diesel and not my first Canadian Winter. During the holidays it dipped to -38 with the windchill. I have a electric oil pan heater (not the magnet) and for those chilly starts a battery warmer /kozy. Those are it for my van and yes it ...

I use Ford’s anti-gel and cetiline booster for the injectors. It’s suppose to increase gas mileage by making things run smoother. I heard of some guys using engine oil or two stroke engine oil. A little bit to each tank of gas. If I fill my van or truck with Shell diesel it seems to like it more. I ...

We haven’t done it yet! I’m not in dire need right now. I’ll wait for the summer as I’m planning other upgrades and repairs.
