Unknown Lamp on Dash
So I took the Delica out for the first time since the fall, and I was introduced to a lamp that I had never seen before on the dash. It did go off, after a bit of driving, and came back on when I started it up again. It is a yellow lamp, that looks like a battery with a ripple of liquid in it. Could...

Re: Where to get an Alignment?
For anyone curious, none of the wheel shops were interested in completing an alignment, not in their system was the main reason. One place did refer me to one place. The shop specializes in Classic, Muscle Cars/Hot Rods, I took the van in and I had the newest vehicle there. So look for classic car s...

Where to get an Alignment?
So I need a front wheel alignment for my 97 StarWagon. I asked around a couple of dedicated Tire Shops that just do Tires, Wheels, and alignments, and with offering all the specs, they all passed. I know Canadian Tire won't touch these, I haven't asked Midas yet. I'm going to start asking independen...

Re: Shock Absorber replacement issue
I've been out camping all month so I didn't get a chance to reply. That little disk looking thing is part of the mount. On the 2nd picture the metal rod is part of the shock then the mount, the rubber bushing, then a washer, and finally the dust cover. Any way it's now solved. What I did was put the...

Re: Shock Absorber replacement issue
Sorry, been on vacation for the last little while. I took another look at it today. Even after backing off the top nut to see if that would help to loosen it up, it is still stuck. I got some pictures this time after wire brushing it. I even tried to get a pry bar in there, it doesn't want to budge....

Shock Absorber replacement issue
So I was changing the front shock absorbers, among other things to do with the suspension. I did the driver's side (RHD) with no problem. Took out the bolts, and removed the shock, bolted the new one in. When I went to do the same with the passenger side, I started having issues. All the bolts came ...

Re: Daytime Running Lights have quit.
I don't believe that DRL was installed in the factory. If you did have them, then someone likely installed a kit on your van. It would be an issue with that modual. Look around where the pedals go up under the date for anything that doesn't look like it belongs.

Inclinometer Pod
More of an experience than anything else. So I was driving my 97 Active World, it was a bit of a rough gravel road, and I hit a deep pot hole. When I did the Inclinometer Pod removed itself from the dash, making a sound of shattering plastic. The parts around the screw are still attached but broken ...

Safety in Ontario, where to go?
So I decided on Saturday just to stop at any shop that does inspection, so they can see what I have, and tell me on the spot if they can or cannot do an inspection. I had good luck, since the first place that I went to, said that it would be fine. I dropped it off on Tuesday Morning, had a tiny bit ...

One more Delica in Canada
I've only driven it a couple times now, but it hasn't had any issues with starting or running, it was -15c the one day I had it out.TardisDeli wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:43 am My L300 is also 1997. How is yours in the cold weather? Post your questions, we are all curious and like to give advice! Cheers, christine.

Safety in Ontario, where to go?
So I got through all the parts that I figured would be difficult like registration and insurance, but I'm coming to a real road block, no one is willing to do a safety on my Delica Star Wagon. I've gone to a couple places and they are all saying that they can't because they don't have the specificat...

One more Delica in Canada
Hello All, Just got my 97 Delica L300 on the road here in Kitchener, barely, just a temp sticker. I've really had it in my garage for the past 2.5 weeks getting it all set for the safety. I've wanted one of these for over 10 years as I first saw them while I was working in the Philippines. I did imp...
