Digital EGT and or Boost Gauge Install Tutorial
I ordered the DM-6 gauge from PLX, and the EGT module. Haven't installed it yet, but I thought I'll just chime in on the hardware itself: The gauge itself is a pretty flimsy piece of plastic that doesn't make the most solid of impressions. The instructions that came with it are completely useless. O...

Re-Sealing Body Seam - Looking for Body Screws
Mine were rusted solid as well. Even got the Japanese JIS screwdrivers thinking it may help but the screws wouldn't budge even after a quart of B'laster applied over a few days. Completely stripped the head of the one under the rubber. At that point I gave up. Will drill them out and replace with ne...

Instrument cluster power lost
Fixed. As I had suspected, cleaning up the connectors, a liberal application of contact cleaner to the pins and plugs and gently prying with a tiny screwdriver to re-tighten the contacts did the trick. Lit up like a christmas tree. While I was in there, I also checked all the little bulbs to make su...

What did you do TO your Delica today?
Finally replaced the old and tired headlights! New lights from eBay, via a Taiwanese company CrazyTheGod that make aftermarket headlights. Shipping was crazy fast. Went with the dark frame, I think it looks pretty cool. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Delica-L300-99-ON-Guide-LED-Halo-W-Corner-Lamp-Headligh...

Thermistor part number
In the the Chassis_Electrical manual I found: Approx. 1.2 at 20°C (68°F) Approx. 1.5 at 40°C (104°F) I believe that means we need a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) type of thermistor, so the above link is no good. I've been browsing my electronics supplier, Digikey, but haven't found one that...

Instrument cluster power lost
I'm fairly certain it is ground on A-13. Everything on A-16 works, and the only common thing that Oil, Fuel, Glow, F/GA and T/GA have in common is pin 7 on A-13. If I can trust the Supplement_1992_Electrical_Wiring, that is. Right now it works, as it was warm enough to make contact, will troubleshoo...

Instrument cluster power lost
Here's an interesting one: a few days I noticed that some of the lights in my combination instrument did not light up when I first started the van: glow plug one of them. Also, tachometer, fuel gauge and temp gauge did not work. Gate lock light, signals, brake light all work. So I hit the forums, an...

L300 1993 headlights needed
Christmas came early this year! DHL just brought the box with two brand spanking new headlights from Taiwan. It looks like they'll fit - will know for sure on Saturday. These are actually the projector type with HID H1 bulbs, and some "angel eye" light. Just talked to my local electrical s...

Thermistor part number
Sorry if this has been answered, but a search for "Thermistor" or "Interior temperature" didn't turn up anything useful: does anyone have a part number or specs for the little interior temp sensor by the steering column? I saw a post that has the specs (1.2kOhm at 20C, 500 Ohm at...

L300 1993 headlights needed
Ok I pulled the trigger on the LHD version with angel eye LED. They come from Taiwan, so it may be a few days before they show up. I got so frustrated today getting the headlight adjusters to spin (even when packed with silicon glide paste they still are stubborn and one of them is cracked anyway) t...

L300 1993 headlights needed
Ok I’ll go for it. Just to double check, I need the LHD version, right? Little scared looking at all the wires and extra pieces, may need some help there. Have half of an electrical engineering degree but no experience with car electrics. Anybody in PDX want to help and watch me struggle? Sent from ...

Sales Tax on Title Transfer for Private Sales in Canada?
As I said, a signed bill of sale as well as the ICBC form are all that is needed for the US import. I spent a good deal of time talking with an ICBC broker and they confirmed. I suggest to call the border ahead of time - they were surprisingly helpful. Of course dealers would love to discourage priv...

Looks like they're the same as from here: https://www.crazythegod.com/catalogsear ... /?q=delica
Some Taiwan seller with an address for a US distributor but not much else. At $299 for the pair with LED this may actually work for me.
May be worth moving this thread into L300 Technical.
