Re: Other vehicles

It's an old thread, I know. But I am very excited about my new ride and I just had to share.

Re: How'bout a mini meet? IKEA Coquitlam anybody? Thurs, Jan

I have convinced my wife that a trip to Ikea on Thursday night is in order. And she agreed (it wasn't a hard sell). Will there be anyone there with a WVO conversion? I wouldn't mind doing a little brain-picking.

Re: New Years gift for you all...

Mike Fraser, eh? My band worked with him a few years back. I have never seen anyone cobble 2'inch together the way he did. (and yes, we still record to tape). The guy gets great sounds. I'll have to have a listen.

I think I can finally make it out to a meet! I'd love to pick some brains about wvo and installing a pyro.

Re: Clear Creek Hot Springs Attempt

So, what's the good news? Did you guys get out that way on Sunday? I am heading to Harrison on Friday for the night. I might go for a drive Saturday morning up that way if it's passable.

Re: Princeton

Turns night into day. Very bright lights. But one of the spots has burned out. haven't got around to fixin' it yet. The LED's are always on. I use the spots if I'm in the mountains on a starless night and nobody coming my way.

Re: a few litres of free oil

My experience with wvo and L300/L400's is that the L400 2.8 4M40 engine is more tolerant to blending diesel and wvo than the L300 2.5 engine. With that said, too much blending in either one without any heat doesn't do good for the engine and can clog the ip/injectors. What do you mean "without...

Re: Princeton

It is cheatin' a bit, for a 30-30. You're right. But it had a scope when I got it and when you have it on already, well, it seems silly to take it off. But I need all the help I can get; skunked again this year!

Re: Princeton

I left for Princeton friday evening after a long day at work. My cell phone was dead, but I had food, warm clothes and enough to keep my alive and safe if something bad where to happen. But nothing bad happened. It was a nice, slow, drive through the crows nest. The stars where like old friends, shi...
