Re: Leaking Baldwin BD28.....brand new filter(s)

I as well have installed a dozen or two of the Baldwin BD28 filter by hand and have never had a problem. Pre lube filter and rubber seal to ensure no leaks. Good luck?

Is the wave dead to L400's

While driving to and from Mission to Coquitlam week after week I've noticed that every time I wave to an L400 they appear not even to register that we are in some way connected. Maybe I'm missing something? This isn't a one of, it is simply what appears to be. Every time I make the effort I do it al...

Re: Electric Fan

Sorry for me not understanding this quite yet. If you have three belts operating at the same time, (alternator, mechanical fan, AC) would that not mean that there is a huge lose of power when compared to a single alternator of larger size with a electric fan? Maybe my logic has failed me? Jeff 8)

Re: Electric Fan

Let me get this straight. I'm going to turn on the AC, along with the mech. fan (which I have no control over), alternator (when it is required). And you think that all of that isn't a lot to run? I would rather have the alternator running only, to limit the amount of drag on the engine. Now, I don'...

Re: Electric Fan

The clutch system works fine David. The problem that I'm having is with the loss of horsepower when the clutch fan comes on. I will be looking for that link in the UK site. 8) Jeff

T-Shirt if possible

Hey All,
I'm looking for a couple of (large) T-shirts if anyone has any available. Falco, I saw that you had some last, and was hoping you still had some. Anyone that can scratch that itch would be forever in my debt.
Thanks:) Jeff

Hey Scott, I purchased my 92 Delica from them and so far I've had no problems. (Knock on wood) But I had to test all of the compliance work that was done because I did'nt believe that it was done to CVI's standard. I'm still not done with some of thier mistakes, but it is a work in progress. If I we...

Re: Wet feet-need help

I think that anyone who has tried this repair has had a few troubles from sticky screws. An old secret to metal-self tapping screws is , if you give them a light strike at the head of the screw it will release some of the rust that holds them in place. This really help me with a few nasty ones. Hope...

Secret places, no. I used to think I had a few, but they are generally filled with people. So, no. I trust your judgement on a large enough site for all of the DELICA'S.

Waiting with baited breath (cookies :-) :-D 8-) :M ) Jeff
