Re: wvo on the supercheap. or ghettowvo.
I live in Victoria, there are a few co-ops here also, but I also have a few restraints that are very loyal to me, I don't pay anything for the oil, and I generally have to much oil to use, if you figure out a way to use an under vehicle tank. you can have a bunch of oil, if you have duel tanks on yo...

Re: Intercooler Spray and Gauge Cluster
Intakes and most quality intercoolers are made from 5000. & 7000 series aluminum, they are corrosion resistant , also why kits used for aluminum boats , the ocean is a tad more corrosive than bug juice ... Brain box holders for ecu's are made from cheap crappy alum , the only purpose is slight d...

Re: Intercooler Spray and Gauge Cluster
you dont have enough fluid or a strong enough pump to make the pump go on automatic, you will drain the bag or resovoir in no time and then burn out the pump, spraying the intercooler with water from a garden sprinkler is pointless, you will just add rust to the glow plug connectors, really its poin...

Re: In tank heaters : to heat or not to heat
looks like some old water injection system, Im allready using a water/metanol injection in my L400 and my welding truck, it definatly makes a difference, I talked him out of the exhaust heating the fuel line idea, right now I have a stainless steel heat exchanger that is heated by the engine coolant...

Re: Mitsu Locker Application Guide (info removed)
Big bird, have you thought about putting in a set of D44's or some solid toy axels? shafts are one ton chev thick, lockers are plentiful and its not that hard of a mod if you have some steel working skills. only down side is the birfs but you can go with chromoly ones or long fields...

If on your way back home, you come to the island, I can load you up with as much as you can hold. I just gave away 23 cubes, and am down to about 4000L of ready to go wvo. for some reason the river of wvo that flows through Victoria has made a consistant stream past my door...

Re: Boost gauge = air filter health-o-meter?
If you want to measure your air flow from your air filter, put in an air filter meter, you can get them on most heavy duty trucks, easy to plumb in and easy to read.

Re: Boost gauge = air filter health-o-meter?
if you are really wanting to know how much boost you are getting from your turbo, or more importantly, to your motor, you need to take off the egr valve, put on a blanking plate with a welded bung/fitting into the plate that goes into your intake manifold put the boost/pressure gauge there, its righ...
