Re: Pajero batteries keep dying
I was having same problem on my 92 pajero. Changed alternator. (Bit of a drag but did it) Problem solved. This was after new new batteries And problem persisted. Had good voltage but no good amperage I suspect. If you can afford it do it and call it a day. (Hopefully) Right On! 8-)

Re: Oh, crap...
Hey, Get a kettle going and keep pouring hot water on the IP. (not the glow plugs and Bus bar or anything else electical OK?) If you have a block heater plug that in too. you want IP and engine (but again not any electrical) to get nice and warm. Hook up your battery charger too as you will need som...

Re: slow idle on wvo
That top part is a common IP leak that you can fix Yourself or cheap. Good point on air filter too. Just have to watch out for restriction of oil flow. A restricted flow will exacerbate an air leak. You want the veg oil as clean as possible to start with of course. The viscosity difference between h...

Hey, The OM617 has/had a Bosch inline injection pump. The Cummins 12 valve(6BT) from 94 to 98.5 had a similar Inline pump (nicknamed "p-pump" P7100) Very robust and dependable which I believe contributes To those two engines being near the top as far as most reliable and longest lasting ev...

Re: L300 rotor removal
I would say you want an impact socket to loosen it up. This can be an air tool or simply an old school impact tool that you whack with a hammer. (Almost always on sale ar canadian tire) You can also try actually tightening the bolts a little and then try loosening them again, this is the action an im...

Re: Humidity Problem
Does anyone know about drainage through the body? in particular, how does water that gets in around the edges of the sunroof drain out? Pretty sure it goes down the B pillar beside the driver, your glow plug controller is tucked in there too. Good Luck :-D

Re: clutch slave cylinder acting up?
Hey, Have you tried double pumping the clutch pedal (or triple)? Have you checked the clutch fluid? On my L300s the clutch and brake fluid share the same Reservoir, so a weeping brake line or wheel cylinder can cause an insufficient Clutch pedal response. Not sure about set up on Pajero. 8-) Let us ...
