Welcome back
HI All: After 10 years driving boring cars I'm looking for another delica. We all throughly enjoyed our last one (a beautiful black l300) and would like to find another. Are they long gone now? Has the venerable l300 gone the way of the dodo? If there were a good one about to go on the block I would...

Re: Safe workplace environment while using a hoist
Makes me think of the safety/horror films they showed us back in the day in trade school. I think the series was called Shake Hands With DANGER! They were all black and white and from the early 60's. Even the names were old school, everyone was either Joe , Sam or Frank.

They are pretty easy to change yourself. Save a couple hundred bucks labour.

New injectors (rebuilds actually)
Set valve lash
Timing & Balancer belt
Crankcase vent oil strainer
Oil & Filter & Lube
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Tot 840$
Next rack boot, wheel brgs grease, paint touchup, change all driveline oil and we are good to go for another 100K

Re: japanoid?!?
Did Japanoid "recommend" that the rad be changed when the head gasket was done? If not they certainly bear the brunt of the blame for a failure due to the rad's inability to cool the engine. Go back at them again.

Re: Hyundai Starex!
As the owner of an L300 I can only say that van is boooaring looking! At least the L400 has more interest factor than that. Lets face
it we all like the cool factor of our unique rides and that Hyundai is about as cool as a ford windstar.

Re: On our way to Van Island!
I'm curious about your route. I'm wanting to head up that way this summer and want to see the best stuff on the way. I will be on my KLR 650. Any suggestions?
