New Battery and new alternator…alternator was Factory original! hahaha 318 for that! all fixed all GOOD! changing out the ALT isn't that bad.

Yes, my buddy is coming over today and we will investigate the Alternator. will post results of tests…should be fun!! hopefully i don't spend too much $$$

have not drove the truck for 2 months. No one ran it at all for over two months in underground parking. Drove truck one day, no issues, except BATTERY LIGHT and the fuel water light both came on at the same time. Then today, the stereo started going in and out, then the RPM indicator stopped working...

Ahhhh many thanks!! yes, we ran out of time when last we checked the rear brake pads so we didn't bother taking the next couple steps...but thanks for the link on the manual (we actually referred to it and scratched our heads for a bit). the photo helps to make sense of it all. Squeaky rear brakes
Squeaky rear brakes...only when cold. Checked pads, which are fine. surprised to see the weird drum parking brake...we think it could be an issue with the parking brake, but can't seem to find any info on parking brakes causing squeaks...any ideas???

Finally, after many years of sub-par audio, I put new speakers into the passenger and driver side door!!! Turns out the old speakers had their wires cut, which explains why they never have worked. They were also completely disintegrated. Disconnected the crappy little 4" speakers out from under...

ya, I am going to go to them for parts...they are just up the island from me. I hear ya on the weirdness of Lordco though. I do get a handy discount, but on my last bill...well, it just didn't make any sense...50 bucks for an oil filter! jeezz

i just find it hard to believe that there are absolutely no trustworthy places in Vic. I love going to Coombs and ccautos is absolutely perfect, but no oil change places in Vic at all seems crazy to me
