I was in the same boat a year ago. Moved from Alberta to S. Ontario with my 91 pajero & had to make a few calls before finding a decent policy at a fair rate. Ended up with Dominion & pleased so far.

My 2.5 auto pulled 5,500 (equalized) from Calgary to Toronto on 33's last summer. Acceleration was slow, however it held 100k through the prairies & slightly less with wind. Vehicle felt steady and controlled the whole trip. Seemed like the wind has more of an impact than the overall weight. Ave...

Just moved from Calgary towing a 5,000 lb trailer on my 91 pajero LWB auto. Slow - but steady & no hiccups whatsoever. Any GTA guys out here?
