Re: Things I have learned since owning my Delica.
I am glad that my post has helped you! This is a great site if you need any information on your Deli and has a great community backing it. Well I'm off to wax my bitch up to a showroom shine so I can stroll along the streets on greater Victoria showing of that true faded black paint while waving gan...

Things I have learned since owning my Delica.
So I would like to point out that this is probably only useful for new delica owners, as I imagine that all the vets out there do this on a regular basis, for the beginner though its sometimes very frustrating to figure out all of this if you are not used to a diesel. Hopefully this helps someone. I...

Ya I have a photo shoot at 4pm, so I can't make it. Next weekend on a Sunday afternoon? That way I have time to wax the beast.

Re: Victoria Meet?
It's funny because I know there is 3 delica's on or just off Verdier st in brentwood! But ya, I find it kinda hard to show up to a meet when I know nothing about my vehicle. Which is exactly why we should have the meet, so we introduce ourselves to the deli crew in town and learn a thing or two abou...

Re: Don't pump gas on April 15th!!!!!!
Well, I just started my first desk job, I was thinking now that I am going to be sitting on my ass all day I might as well try to stay in shape and save on diesel this summer. Solution? $872.11 on a hybrid bicycle for my 28km round trip from work and back (lets hope I can do it!). Given the situatio...

Re: First issue with the delica.
Update: So, it seems now the engine is running rough, RPM's are the same but the engine sounds different and seems to vibrate more. I checked the air filter and that seems fine, checked the fuel filter again and the valve at the bottom is tight. I get power going up hills and at highway speed, just ...

Re: First issue with the delica.
Wow that was an easy fix. I literally slipped under the delica, tightened the fuel filter wing nut deal a full turn, primed it then started it up with no issues. Took it for a ride for a good 15 mins to make sure, apparently that wing nut being loose does actually ^&%$#@ shit up. I feel like an ...

How does that affect the delivery of fuel to the engine? Just curious.

Re: First issue with the delica.
Does a new fuel filter fix the problem? or do I need a new o ring for the filter to attach too?

Re: First issue with the delica.
Ok so I prime the fuel filter and it runs for a minute then dies. So that's telling me its getting air right? Its just the fuel not running to it? I take it when I prime the fuel filter I am supposed to get fuel squirting out the bottom of the filter? Because it is doing that. It's my first diesel, ...

Re: First issue with the delica.
3 months ago. Ya I was just looking at everything, and now it won't run longer than a minute without stalling. Air in the fuel lines?
