Re: Congratulations DeliCat!

Congratulations, David! Even more awesome than your other recent contribution to a worthwhile and successful project on this site. How much would your wife object to calling your new son "Skidplate"?

Re: Lots of Delica's in ditches, side roads, in accident's,etc..

On my way back and forth between Vancouver and Whistler I saw 4 Delica's in ditches over the past 2 weeks. In the past 4 days driving around Vancouver, Langley, White Rock, N/W Van, I saw 7 Delica's in one form or another stuck on the side of the road, in a ditch or sandwiched up against another ve...

Re: Grumble, Grumbling....

Thanks in advance, Kevin Hey again- I just found some good info in the owners manual which tells me to drive in 4h for awhile in cold climes to warm the transfer case From what I've read on this forum, not a good ide...

Re: van not starting in mournings.....help us please...

Ok, I will go out on a limb and say it IS your battery. this is why I say this, If, after you get a jump, you can drive it and park it and restart it up to 5 hours later then it suggests that your battery is losing its' charge. So either that battery is buggered or you have an electrical problem th...

Re: NWT Right Hand Drive Restrictions

The vehicle’s seat-belt restraint assemblies must be anchored to the motor vehicle.
I wonder if the centre row captain's seats' lap belts and seat mounted latches comply with this requirement? They are indirectly anchored.

Ten I can think of off the top of my head with the addition of mugsie. Also a Yota Master Surf, a couple of Fusos a couple of S-Cargos, two Sambar vans, one Sambar Combi, and more Carrys ,Actys, and Everys than you can shake a stick at. Welcome aboard, mugsie - we met a while ago in Ganges.

Re: Coombs Country Auto show-and-tell day... yeah!

Doesn't surprise me though; boarder crossings (esp. into the US, it seems :?) are often surreal, scary places. :M :-D Yeah, they put us in a room with all the head scarves and "terrists". I always knew they were evil, but I didn't know how devious they were! Some were disguised as babies ...

Re: Coombs Country Auto show-and-tell day... yeah!

Damn, not going to make it! Still on the road (Montana). At least two more days of traveling left. Was really looking forward to it too. Well, that is too bad. Driving your delica in Montana a headin' home is pretty cool though... We'll take lots of pictures and post a good rundown for you and the ...

Will try to be there on the 16th. Gonna be tight. Really hoped to be there - got lots of questions and a few stories to tell. Returning from Boston-leaving Windsor,Ont. on Mon. the 11th. Maybe with a tailwind. (not the case on the way east-Delis don't like a 20 mph headwind on the prairies @ 110 kmh...

Re: Learn about your delica day at ccautos!!

We should be back by the 16th - could do the whole day; and I will be in that neck of the woods on the 23rd, also, but could only do part of the day. So my preference is obvious. :-) Need muffler bearings done for sure, but I think mine are reverse threaded so I hope Glen has the proper wrench.
