Re: MUST READ!

The Ban in Quebec may not trickle down to the rest of us but it makes it easier for other provinces to do the same with less pressure as they can point to Quebec and say see they did it, it must be the right thing to do (sheep). The reason to pitch in is if the Quebec ban is overturned it will help ...

Re: L300 dual tank system q

I have both tanks out of an auto L300 and will be using the smaller one as a diesel tank on my L400 for starting/purging. I'm going to take the guts out of the larger tank and try to use them in a 75L fuel tank for veg. Does anyone have a link or details on which tank does what/wiring diagram/fuel ...

Re: Why do you import JDM Pajeros?

You're telling me every feature in the Pajero was also in the Montero around here? I'll take your word for it, but the Pajero's I've seen have been pretty fully loaded, the Monteros however not so much. I would imagine that the stuff that gets shipped over from Japan is the cream of the crop and th...

Re: The time has come

We have had this discussion before somewhere. I remember it being pointed out that it was not so much the action as it was the re-action that led to whiplash. A booster seat under a seat belt.... that seems a little unstable to me with weight shifting in an accident and all. Falco. the reaction is ...

Re: The time has come

shoulder belts go along with booster seats (up to a certain size), lap belts don't require boosters, but then there is the thought of you childs torso flopping up and down in a crash . a lap belt and rear facing is far safer than a should belt (even with booster) facing forwards imo.

the liberty will cost 3 times as much at least and will leave a big oil stain in your driveway.

Re: PTO anyone?

I don't think PTO is at all a minor mod, I was thinking though if it has been done on a Paj or some Pajs had it stock? would it not be "relatively" simple to put a Paj Transfer case in (if it already has PTO is makes the whole thing easier, still not a minor mod imo)

Re: Exhaust Gas Temps

Hey Jesse, thanks for the quick reply. I drove to Kelowna and back to Vernon today and discovered that a previous problem which we thought was related to exhaust manifold leak and cracked turbo housing is not in fact fixed by repairing those two things. In fact it may be this problem that is giving...

Re: Welcome to the "Last Word Café".

I saw that in Wimp. Is that for real? I doubt the shoes make a dramatic difference. One thing I did notice is that they always take the same approach and run across the same line in the water. They stay buoyant for the same distance then sink. I think there's something under the water. It's a sham....
