Re: Monsanto, Chemtrails & our future. Must see. No kidding.

Tony, by bringing common sense into a conspiracy theorist's deluded ramblings you only reinforce his belief in the impossible. It's like an atheist and a religious person arguing. The atheist is coming from a position of logic and reason, the theist is coming from a faith-based point of view. Neithe...

Many thanks Glenn. It's good to see the difference.

Looks like I'm leaning toward the gas. I like the look of the 2nd gen, but without a good bushbar, it just seems so...minivan.

Re: wiper arms

If I remember correctly, the longer wiper goes on the passenger side.

Back from the (mostly) dead. Avec la questions.

Hey folks. I know I wasn't terribly active on here, only made it to one Vic meet, and my ride is still up for sale on the Trader page. Plans change. Boba and I had some great times together, and I'm not quite ready to part with him just yet. I got some good news the other day, and will be coming int...

Re: L300 Parts vehicle (intact)

Sorry to hear. If you can do it, you may be better off getting the head done and selling it running otherwise your buyer's market shrinks to those who can tinker and parts vendors that won't pay you much. Big Delica community in Nanaimo. I'm sure someone will jump on it. Did you advertise it on htt...

Re: L300 Parts vehicle (intact)

I feel like I'm talking to myself here, but the van is back at my place in Nanaimo.

I've thought about parting it out, but then I'm left with a pile of van that I have to haul off to crush.

I'll take offers...I hate doing it, but I need it gone before spring.

L300 Parts vehicle (intact)

My head just blew. I'm selling my 91 L300 to the first person with $3000 cash in hand. It's at the CC Auto lot. New alternator and battery, front brakes, Depo headlights (installed by CC Auto about 6 weeks ago), lots of meat on the tires. Please, no offers, it's $3000 firm. It'll cost you about $300...

Re: Non-Delica post! Traveler's advice needed...

If you're looking for warm and friendly, try St. Thomas or St. Maarten. I've been to both places, and they were stellar. St. Thomas is a little touristy in the town proper, and St. Maarten is a haven for the spring break-types in certain areas, but both are warm, full of beaches, the snorkeling/divi...

Re: Headlights like...chandeliers?!!

Ok...first week of driving with the new headlights, and I have to say, I don't know how I did it without these Depo lights. Yes, they cut off sharply at the top, in the hockey stick pattern...this is to illuminate the side of the road without blinding oncoming drivers. There's a slight chandelier pa...

Re: Occupy vancouver

The way of life is not depreciating. Sure, inflation sucks and you can't buy a dollar's worth in a store like you did 20 years ago. It's the masses of people that want an immediate lifestyle fix at the expense of their health who are the most vocal to complain but when it comes down to it, do not c...

Re: Headlights like...chandeliers?!!

I just bought a set of brand-new Depo lights...having them installed on Thursday. They're the 100w instead of the 50w, and Graham at Coombs says the difference is astounding. I'm looking forward to them!

Re: Considering trading my Deli for a Domingo

If I can find the right Domingo or Bravo at the right price, I'll consider selling the Deli. And I'll give you first dibs.

Have you seen it around town? It'll usually have Ace Courier or SWAT Pest Control decals on it.

Re: 1995 Delica L300 Highly Modified

Unfortunately mate, I think it'll be for sale for a long, long time.

It's a beautiful rig, but is it worth $23,000? Perhaps to you it is...but considering that one could purchase two Delica's and have some pocket change left over, it's dramatically overpriced.

Considering trading my Deli for a Domingo

Fuel prices. I've been comparing fuel economy between the Domingo and the Delica...right now I get about 10-11 L/100km, which is pretty good for a 91. That said, I can cut that down to 7L/100km with a Domingo. I understand that the ECV transmission can be a little dicey on the Sambars, but that it's...
