Glow Plugs Cycling on and off after engine start fixed with Temp Sensor
SK66 is right: If you have the 6v super quick system then cycling of the glow plugs *IS* normal until the engine comes up to reasonable temp. Basically, the first 2 clicks are the system applying 12v to the 6v plugs so that they glow "super quick." then it switches over to 6v as needed (th...

Glow Plugs Cycling on and off after engine start fixed with Temp Sensor
From what I know, Superglow is the name of the Glow Plug System in our 6V L300. I had similar issues and had my ECU refurbished and the Temperature sensor replaced, it cured the clicking problems: capacitors were leaking in the ECU: at 25YO they all are overdue....Have it a Youth Fontain Cure :shock...

L300 Chamonix OEM Dual Battery size?
I did some research recently: on L300 part list: 80D26R. This number are not standard in NA, from what I know but apparently = Group 24. Group 34 are of similar size as the original but just a bit lower (witch is OK) and are readily available everywhere too. There maybe more options... Lapprentis :M

Sliding Door won't Open
I have experience that recently: after car wash (to get rid of salt as much as I can) and well below freezing (-20C) the day after....I assume it is normal so I will not force it anymore in these conditions AND will not wash that area before next spring....

Where is the "injection pump inlet filter sieve?"
I would say it is the very same as discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17862 Is is just that for L300, it is like a permanent sieve inside the bolt' you have to clean the hole bolt assembly, we do not have that spring+removable sieve like in the Pajeros..

So thanks all and Growler for making the remedy less esoteric for most of us :o I would not even have notice that hole on the side of the bolt, sooooo tinny... And what looks like a spring (the picture with the measuring tape) is in fact the screen :o Will keep in touch if I have it in my Va...
