Re: Tachometer connection
Thanks a lot for that! Found the problem. Turns out the mechanic did not connected the ground to the engine where it<s suppose to be. So now I have to either find the proper bolt to fit in, or rewire to another ground. I will also test the ECU afterward to see if it was also the same problem. Again ...

Tachometer connection
Good morning/day/night everyone! After my ordeal in Newfoundland with the head gasket, I went ahead and got the mechanic to change the timing belts and all. One belt was already cracked. To the best of my knowledge, he did a good job. No more oil leaking. So, I am not complaining about him or the wo...

Re: One problem fixed, another one pop up...
It is more likely to be a gasket. Will find out Monday. Just drove 10km with it and the coolant was gushing out of the overflow canister/tube. Will keep you updated... And this is happening only a few days before going back home, 5 months later... without seeing my wife... the guy is getting very mu...

One problem fixed, another one pop up...
So I received my part from Coombs to set the actuator valve with the turbo. Thank you. Now installed, it works, lots of power again! But wait... while I push the gas pedal on an uphill I can feel the power, but suddenly, I can hear short burst (air pressure, don't know) under the seat... Go back hom...

Re: turbo valve?
I know I could go to a supply store and check, but I am an hour drive from the closest one and now I am concern driving too much without the valve hooked up on the turbo.

Re: turbo valve?
Sorry to bring this up again, but all I need to know is if the bolt that hold the actuator valve to the rod is a special one or can I find it at a supply store or NAPA.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: turbo valve?
So my next question is, that long bolt that attach the actuator valve to the rod, is it something I can find at a NAPA or any supply store? I am again in a very remote place at the very end of the Newfoundland northern peninsula.
Thank you,
Fred
Thank you,

Re: turbo valve?
Thank you so much for that. Yes I mean the actuator and yes, it is above the turbo. I lost the long bolt that holds the rod to the actuator. So my first task is to find another one (long bolt). Not sure if it is a special bolt or not and also in the meantime, is it going to harm the turbo/engine if ...

turbo valve?
Good day, The valve underneath the turbo, attached to an arm, when the valve open, does it go in or out? Does the arm push inside the valve or outside? The reason is that I have lost the long bolt and I will replace it. I am not sure how far I can screw it in the screw attached to the valve. Hope th...

Re: Hyper Voltage Stabilizer
Thanks so much for the link!
Not sure if the benefits are worth paying close to 300$. But in my case, it cost 5K and had a free truck . And I found that it can be installed on diesel too.
I'll try it
Cheers!

Re: Hyper Voltage Stabilizer
Well, Considering the vast amount of responses (just being cheeky here, no need to blast me for that), I'll guess no one has one or has even tried it on their Delica. Despite my effort to search an answer online, I might just passed on this. I just don't want to either bust the ECU or overcharge the...

Hyper Voltage Stabilizer
Good day every one! When I bought my Pajero 3.5, there was that little blue box attached to the battery. The name on it is Hot Inazma Hyper. I looked it up online and it is a hyper voltage stabilizer. From my understanding, it helps stabilize the voltage when all the stuff is running inside, fan, AC...

Re: Turbo Air thingy
Thank you all for your response! This is why I love this forum! So my waste gate is fully closed (up). Next oil change I'll bring it at a mechanic and have it checked.
Cheers!!!

Turbo Air thingy
Good day! Looking at the photo attached, I don't know the actual name of item number one, which is attached to item number two (turbo). My understanding is the item 1 will move up and down depending on how much air is needed and it will open up the turbo as needed. Am I right? And is item 2 suppose ...
