Re: Buzzing Won't Stop
Hi, the only 2 things making noise in my Delica when I turn off the engine and remove the key is if headlights are on (stalk on right side of steering wheel), or if fog lights are on (rocker switch to right of steering wheel, closest to wheel). Or in reverse gear if beeps inside the van. Everything ...

Re: Driving from the docks - is it safe?
Hi Joel, I wouldnt advise the drive away. When we first saw ours right after they brought it to the shop it was in good condition, but one tire was flat, 2 wipers crap, windows too dusty to see out, spider web over the engine (eeek), battery dead, headlights wrong so hard to see the road, brake roto...

Re: Shake it baby, shake it...
We have the same shaking. John at Rocky Mountain Imports looked at the steering wheel shaking and says Transmission mounts need replacing. So, We all crawled under it (party time) and looked and yes indeed very old and rubber cracky. The engine mounts looked ok though. So I now have 2 new tranny mou...

Rear Anti Sway bar - some don't have em?
Hi Deli Philes, Our new 1991 automatic deli, in superb condition (The Tardis Deli) has no rear anti sway bar. We looked at another one on the lot (almost a twin of it, with a serial number very close, manual tranny) and it didnt have one either. Then we looked at another one (white, sporty accessori...

Re: New Member: Coquitlam BC
Hi Darryl, I havent seen any camper top conversions, but what you might be noticing are the 3 plus different roof styles. There is a low roof, that basically ends at the roof seam on the side. Then there is the high top, that extends about another six inches above the roof seam. Then the high top wi...

Hello all, thank you each for your reponses. Very valuable info, now I sound like I know what I'm talking about as I see each Deli. Re: New delica owner in North Vancouver
Hi all, This is Christine, with Jay the Spousal Unit. Just started Deli buying, hope to get something asap. We are so enthused. Backroad forestry roads are why we want the Tardis mobile, and to mothership our boats. We are very familiar with the Indian Arm end of the road, as we are up there in our ...
